Krishak Andolan: Delhi Police Commissioner sends notice to farmers’ organizations and their leaders

The Joint Kisan Morcha (United Kisan Morcha) has responded to the notice of the Delhi Police Commissioner on behalf of various farmers’ organizations and their leaders. The Delhi Police Commissioner sent a show cause notice to the farmers’ organizations and their leaders yesterday. The United Kisan Morcha today celebrated ‘Mazdoor Kisan Ekta’ on the day of Guru Rabidas Jayanti and the martyrdom of Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad. At this time the kirtan of the city was also performed. At the call of the United Kishan Morcha, workers and labor organizations from all parts of Delhi took part in the event. Many trade unions across the country supported the struggle of the peasants and gave it their support. In a joint statement issued by the labor organizations, they supported the struggle of the farmers and supported the Workers ‘and Farmers’ Unity Day.

The United Kisan Morcha has given the above information in a press release. Morcha said that after being released from jail last night, activist Nadip Kaur reached the Singhu border among the farmers again. Addressing the farmers, Nadeep Kaur said that there is a relationship between farmers and workers. Both are incomplete without each other and the fight must also be fought together. A 35 km long tractor trolley assembly was organized by Kisan Mazdoor Sangha Samiti on Sonpat-Gohana Road in Haryana.

Today, 14 more farmers have been released on bail. So far, farmers have been released. The United Kisan Morcha is in contact with the imprisoned farmers. A delegation of farmers from South India today met the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha and made further plans along with the ongoing movement.
