In this episode of the Newshour Debate with Pranesh Kumar Roy we talk about the politics being played by the Kisan Netas in the name of Kisan Andolan. Rakesh Tikait gets welcomed by TMC leaders in Kolkata, ahead of the West Bengal elections. Whereas Yogendra Yadav writes a letter asking people not to vote for BJP. To add to this, Balbir Rajewal, BKU takes a direct hit at BJP saying that the party only understands the policy of vote. The people should thus use these votes as weapons. He also asked people to especially not to vote for Narendra Modi.
Dr. Riju Dutta, Spokesperson of TMC speaks on the politics stating specifically to BJP that after all defections in TMC, the party still has more than 180 MLAs, so BJP need a much bigger strike rate.
‘Farmers said, ‘don’t vote for BJP’. What is the problem if they conveyed something about the Prime minister?’ asks, Tauseef Rahman, Political Analyst.
Shehzad, requests TMC to say that they don’t have anything to do with somebody who says Pakistan is not a threat for India.
