Amid the COVID pandemic crisis and the entry of the raging second wave of coronavirus in India which has proven to be fatal, the farmers’ protest continues with the Bharatiya Kisan Union’s representative Rakesh Tikait stating that farmers of India will completely boycott farming if the Centre does not listen to their demands of repealing the recently passed farm laws. Punjab minister Sundar Shah has slammed this warning from the farmers and hits out at BKU’s Rakesh Tikait saying, ‘It’s not the time for such politics’.
